More Potato, More Options

When we launched Potatuhs in January, we started with what we knew we could do well: premium hoodies, sweatshirts, a trucker hat, and a project notepad. Seven products. Not a lot, but each one designed with care and made with quality materials.

That was the foundation. Now it's time to build on it.

We're excited to announce that new products are in development and will be hitting the store over the coming weeks. Here's a preview of what's coming — and the thinking behind each one.

T-Shirts: The Obvious Next Step

You asked for them. (Okay, a few of you asked for them. Okay, one person asked and we were already planning it. But still — validation!)

T-shirts are coming to Potatuhs, and we're doing them right. Here's what to expect:

The same character designs you love. Smashingdips, Cheesewheel, Loadedspud, Droolingpotato — the whole crew. These characters are the heart of the Potatuhs brand, and they look just as good on a tee as they do on a hoodie.

Accessible price points. Our hoodies run $49.99-$59.99, which we believe is fair for the quality you get. But we also know that not everyone wants to spend $60 on their first Potatuhs purchase. T-shirts will be priced to make the brand accessible to more people. Think entry-level pricing that still reflects the quality and design work that goes into every product.

Multiple colors and sizes. We're carrying over the color palette that works — Forest Green, Team Red, Latte, Khaki — and expanding it with new options that work specifically for tees. Full size range from S to 3XL, because potato appreciation knows no size limit.

Premium blanks. We're being picky about the base shirts. Nobody wants a potato tee that feels like a paper bag after three washes. We're sourcing blanks that are soft, durable, and hold their shape. The kind of t-shirt you reach for first when you're getting dressed, not the one that lives at the bottom of the drawer.

Stickers: Small But Mighty

If t-shirts are the obvious next step, stickers are the fun next step.

We're developing a line of Potatuhs stickers featuring our potato characters in various poses, expressions, and situations. Laptop stickers, water bottle stickers, notebook stickers — wherever you want to put a tiny potato, we've got you covered.

Why stickers? A few reasons:

They're the ultimate impulse buy. A hoodie is a considered purchase. A sticker is a "yeah, throw that in too" purchase. We want to give people a low-commitment way to join the Potatuhs world. Spend a few bucks, get a cool sticker, and see if the potato vibe resonates with you.

They're social. A sticker on a laptop is a conversation starter. Someone sees Droolingpotato on your MacBook and says, "What's Potatuhs?" and suddenly you're an ambassador. That kind of organic visibility is priceless for a small brand like us.

They're fun to design. We're not going to pretend this isn't a factor. Our design process involves drawing potato characters doing silly things, and stickers give us permission to go even sillier. Potato riding a skateboard? Sticker. Potato wearing sunglasses? Sticker. Potato doing literally anything? Sticker.

We're planning to offer individual stickers and sticker packs. The packs will be curated collections — like a "Greatest Hits" pack with our most popular characters, or a themed pack with seasonal designs.

More Stationery: Beyond the Notepad

The Potatuhs Project Notepad has been one of our favorite products since launch. There's something deeply satisfying about a well-designed notepad, and the potato branding makes it even better. (It's also a sneaky conversation starter — leave it on your desk at work and someone will definitely ask about it.)

We're expanding the stationery line with additional items that serve the same purpose: useful, well-designed, and unmistakably Potatuhs. We're not ready to announce specific products yet (we're still finalizing designs and sourcing), but think along the lines of:

  • Notebooks and journals
  • Greeting cards (because "Happy Birthday" is better with a potato on it)
  • Desk accessories
  • Art prints

The stationery line is important to us because it represents a different facet of the Potatuhs brand. Not everyone wears hoodies. Not everyone wants clothing. But almost everyone uses a notebook, sends a card, or decorates their space. Stationery lets us reach people who love the aesthetic but express it differently.

The Pricing Philosophy

Let's talk about money for a second, because we think it matters.

Potatuhs is a made-to-order brand. We don't hold inventory. When you order a hoodie, it gets printed and shipped specifically for you. This model has huge advantages — no waste, no overproduction, no landfill full of unsold inventory — but it also means our per-unit costs are higher than a brand that orders 10,000 hoodies from a factory.

Our pricing reflects this reality. We charge what we need to charge to deliver a quality product, pay everyone fairly, and keep the business running. We don't do fake "sales" where the original price was inflated to make the discount look good. We don't do loss-leader pricing to hook you and then upsell you on something expensive.

With the new product lines, we're focused on offering a range of price points:

  • Stickers: A few dollars. The easiest way to get into Potatuhs.
  • T-shirts: Mid-range. Premium quality at a price that doesn't require a committee meeting with your bank account.
  • Stationery: Varies by product, but aimed at the "treat yourself" price range.
  • Hoodies and sweatshirts: Our premium tier. Worth every penny, but we get that it's an investment.

The goal is to have something for everyone, whether you want to spend $3 on a sticker or $60 on a hoodie.

What's the Timeline?

We're being intentionally vague about exact dates because we'd rather launch products when they're ready than rush them to meet an arbitrary deadline. Here's what we can say:

  • T-shirts: Coming soon. Designs are finalized, we're in the sourcing and testing phase. Expect them in the store within the next few weeks.
  • Stickers: Also coming soon. These have a shorter production timeline, so they might actually beat the t-shirts to the store.
  • Additional stationery: A little further out. We're still in the design phase for most of these items. Spring 2026 is a reasonable expectation.

We'll announce each launch on the blog, on social media, and through our newsletter (join the Potato Club in the footer if you haven't already).

A Request

If there's a product you want to see from Potatuhs — something we haven't mentioned, something weird, something that makes total sense to you even if nobody else would get it — tell us. Our contact page is open, and we genuinely read every message.

We're building this brand for and with our community. Your ideas matter. Your preferences matter. And if enough people ask for potato-themed socks, we will absolutely make potato-themed socks.

(Honestly, we're probably going to make potato-themed socks regardless. But it's nice to feel validated.)

Stay Tuned

More products are coming. The Potatuhs universe is expanding. And we're just getting started.

Keep an eye on the store, follow us on social media, and join the Potato Club newsletter for first access to new products and announcements.

The potato revolution will be merchandised.
